A client, Mr W, approached us with a view to securing our help in tracing an old employer’s insurance history.  The company that he worked for in the 1970’s had long since become dissolved and as such there was no company to pursue.  The company had undergone many name changes and was proving difficult to trace.

We pride ourselves on tracing old companies or the employer’s liability insurers for the relevant periods of employment.  We undertook painstaking investigations to trace the employers’ liability insurer for some of the periods in both the 1970’s and the 1980’s.  This resulted in the Claimant being able to pursue an old employer where he had given up finding those responsible for his industrial disease.
