Complaints Procedure

Our commitment

We are committed to providing a high-quality legal service. If something has gone wrong or you are dissatisfied with our service, please tell us. Raising a complaint will not affect how we handle your matter and there is no charge for investigating a complaint.

How to complain

You may complain in writing, by telephone, by email or through our website. Formal complaints should be addressed to Mr Umran Aziz at Zen Law Solicitors, Virginia House, 5-7 Great Ancoats Street, Manchester M4 5AD. Telephone: 0161 826 1126. Email: info@zenlaw.co.uk.

We will acknowledge and investigate the complaint under our written complaints procedure. A copy of the full procedure is available on request.

Legal Ombudsman

If we have not resolved your complaint within eight weeks, or you remain dissatisfied with our final response, you may be entitled to refer the matter to the Legal Ombudsman. Ordinarily, you must refer your complaint within six months of our final written response, and within one year of the act or omission complained of, or one year from when you should reasonably have realised there was cause for complaint. The Legal Ombudsman can consider exceptions to these time limits.

Solicitors Regulation Authority

The Legal Ombudsman deals with complaints about service. The Solicitors Regulation Authority can deal with concerns about professional conduct or breaches of regulatory requirements.
